Best product I ever bought, works really well in helping remove chunks of coffee and filling the air pockets in the puck. Comes with extra needles! The stand holder is bit loose but it works! Itâs easy to replace a needle if you need to! Great price for the money! The tool is my go too, after my coffee grinds are in the puck! Well worth the price!

Great product
This is a really good product. I stopped leaving reviews – too time consuming. Yet I feel compelled to compliment this coffee distribution/de-clumping tool. I am not receiving any benefit other than being satisfied with this item. Delivered quickly. Great protective packaging-impressive. The entire base with top sits attractively and unobtrusively on the counter by my espresso machine. The base is heavy and stable. The top which contains the pins for distributing the coffee, fits easily and quickly into the base after each use. The pins and pattern of the pins make the distribution/de-clumping quick and easy. At first, I thought the pins might be too fine (too small gauge) but they work great. I had been using a wood skewer (for grilling) by sharpening one end with a knife into a point and then stirring the grounds. This tool works faster and more efficiently and, distributes more evenly than my home-made tool.The only alternative I considered was one reviewerâs wry suggestion to just push some sewing needles into a cork for the distribution tool. That would work just fine but, it wouldnât look so good on the counter or complement my top quality espresso machine, grinder, tamper, scale, etc. Well worth the price.

Cheap, gets the job done.
I was too lazy to make one out of needles and cork. I bought this and it seems to help get ride of clumps. Not sure how to clean it, I guess you can fill the holder with some rice, as I have seen others do, could do the trick. This is good enough, if you are just starting off on your espresso journey.

No frills, well designed, 0.35mm actual needles, cheap base bottom
The product does what it is supposed to which is WDT.The stability of needle holder is good compared to other WDT tools because the needles are held at two points, meaning they don’t wobble around annoyingly.The needles came in 0.34mm caliper reading, which is good. I bought some WDT tools before they say “0.35mm” but actually 0.5mm….this one is actually 0.35mm which is good.The base bottom feels really cheap. In fact I hate it so much I wanted to use my old WDT base instead but it doesn’t center well in it. The bottom is basically no metal hollow bottom held by foam. Admittedly I won’t be feeling the bottom of my WDT base on a daily basis, but skimping on this part bothers me.I thought about decreasing rating because of the cheap bottom, but overall I am impressed with the WDT performance and also the stability of the retainer design of the WDT device itself so 4 stars.

Great WDT tool with thin, long sturdy needles which includes full backup needle set. I really like the high quality heavy metallic handle as well as the matching bottom holder to store the WDT when not being used.

Necessary tool for even doeses at home
Results are great and this product is easy to use. Level coffee prior to tamping helps ensure more even extraction. These do a better job than the spin-leveling tools, cost is also low, and results are very good. I’m a novice and the learning curve here is 2-3 uses. Grind, use the WDT to de-clump and spread evenly in your filter, tamp, and brew…

I love this! It’s underrated as a necessary tool.
This particular one has VERY thin needles, extras to come with, plus you can arrange them differently. I’ve noticed how much more delicious my espresso is now that I’m doing the whole works, including ensuring the evenness of the coffee throughout the portafilter prior to tamping. I know it seems silly, but it’s a great tool for improving your espresso game and I have had another that had thicker, less needles. This one is WAY better.

This is used nearly daily, itâs been about a month, and I havenât noticed the needles falling out. I didnât research if these needles were the right size for perfectly distributed coffee, but it breaks up my clumps very easily and efficiently. I made a lot of changes for my new espresso machine that have improved my coffee, and I would guess this would definitely be one of them. If you buy a WDT tool, I did my research and I canât complain about this one that I bought. It even came with replacement needles. Would buy again. It feels nice, and I even wipe the needles after each use with a wet and then dry towel, and they still stay in place. You can bend them if you want them angled or straight.
