Very quiet!
It works really well and has different levels of grinding.It is light to carry and very easy to clean.There is a louder noise to start but overall it is very quiet.

Perfect grind!
Our old grinder finally broke, and after a disappointing performance from the Kitchen Aid grinder I bought initially to replace it (loud, only ground half the beans somehow, clunky), I ordered this one. Wow. Two big *removable* bowls for wet and dry grinding, quieter than most, different settings for fineness, you press a button once versus holding it down, etc.. Filling the dry cup 3/4ths of the way with beans and setting it to 20 seconds yielded the perfect even grind for our 12 cup Moccamaster. If you need a coffee or spice grinder, buy this one! I’m excited to try the wet bowl for things like pesto, too.

Great for the price!
So far I’m extremely happy with this coffee grinder. That’s what I use it for as coffee only. All the settings seem to work and it’s extremely quiet. That’s what really makes this great for the money!

Great
Iâve had an older grinder for a decade. Itâs robust. Same as they had in a local cafe. But loud and slow.I love pour over coffee, however, and so despite having a machine that worked I decided to take a chance on modern. Simple. Quiet and quick. This is it.Very happy with this purchase. 23 seconds and Iâve got a perfect grind for many cups.

Improvement
I’m moving from a hand crank so this is a step up.I haven’t used an electronic grinder in YEARS so it’s loud to me but I have very little recent experience with others. Everyone’s perception is different.It grinds quickly and well.The cup can hold A LOT so if you make a lot of coffee, it’s a good option.It’s taken some time to get used to the timing but you can also pulse it with the power button.We use a pour over so we need to coffee a bit coarse, we’ve found that 2-3 seconds worksHas a great range from very coarse to very fine.It fits well in our cupboard (we don’t leave things on our counters)Love the spoon with the dual brush!It does get a tad messy moving it from the grinder to a container to hold so love using the brush to keep a mess from happening.

It is not a burr grinder
I guess if you are very particular about how your coffee is ground this is not for you. However my taste is not so refined other than fresh ground does taste better. The timer is a nice touch in that once you find the time that gives you the ground you want it will be there every time you use it. It is easy to clean and use. I use a French press mostly and the grind I get is just fine. Not sure you can grind enough in one shot for a coffee maker but it probably is just enough. Yes I would like a burr grinder but only if they were less expensive.
