Works great for grinding flax seeds
I purchased this little grinder to try it out for freshly grinding flax seeds. I wanted to try Budwig and read that ground flax seeds start to become rancid 20 minutes after grinding. I wasn’t sure if the taste of the oil and ground seeds would be something I would be willing to do for the long haul, so I opted for this inexpensive grinder. This little grinder is intuitive and easy to operate. Take off the clear top, add the seeds, pop the top on, careful to align the button on the lid with the base, press the lid/button and it takes off! Within a very few seconds I have finely ground flax.I was pleased that the noise level wasn’t bad at all and was actually much less than I expected. However, coffee beans may be louder to grind. The actual sound of the machine is a light whirring sound.Capacity is very adequate for my needs. I only grind 1 to 2 tablespoons of flax seeds at a time. The grinding does make them fluffy and take up more space, but I still have plenty of room. The idea is to only grind only as much as is immediately needed anyway, so that it is as fresh as possible.I’m a newbie with a grinder so I’m not sure how much cleaning should be done. The only action I’ve taken toward semi cleaning it is to wipe it out a little with a paper towel. I don’t see where the base comes apart for cleaning the blade and little bowl inside, but I think these are meant to be dedicated pretty much to grinding one thing anyway, and wiping out the residue with a paper towel was effective. This definitely met my needs and I would recommend this to others.

Awesome grinder!
I’ve been using this grinder everyday. Works perfect with no issues at all!! Low noise. Grinds the perfect amount for 12 cups if you fill to the max level line on the grinder. Just don’t grind too fine or you’ll get coffee grounds in your coffee. Great price too! Definitely recommend!!

Good, Inexpensive Coffee Grinder
-Works well and easy on the wallet. It’s on the small side, so I ground up a number of 1/2 measuring cups full and dumped it in my coffee jar. If you grind much more than that at one time, you will end up with spillage on your counter. One unexpected, smaller POA, is the electrical cable isn’t secured to the side slot on the bottom, so the grinder wobbles if you don’t reposition the cable into that slot before using. I will use some silicone caulk to secure it into place.

Very good
Itâs quiet and fast, the blade isnât very sharp and stuff gets stuck in the crack between the metal and plastic I use this for spices or nuts sometimes coffee, works well for that itâs not too big or heavy it is kinda hard to clean since you canât remove the inner tray or blade the lid is alright when you take it off stuff falls from it dropping onto the counter and the machine itself

Zippy grinder
Works perfect. Not too noisy and gets the job done in a quick manner. It doesnât take up a lot of room. And, if you needed to, you could take it with you to another location.

A good choice for people who’ve never used a grinder before…
I ordered a bag of ground coffee online, but it was accidentally sent to me as whole bean. Instead of returning it, which would have been a pain in the butt, I decided to buy a grinder. The fact that this one was cheap and seemed easy to use, held much appeal, since it was my first experience grinding my own coffee. It is indeed easy to use. I didn’t have to look at the directions much to figure out how it works. But some experimentation might be needed for a person to figure out how finely they want their coffee grinded.I’ve only had it for a few weeks, so I can’t comment on if it is built to last. But it was cheap, and you get what you pay for, so I don’t expect it to work forever. It suits my needs for the time being, which is good enough. The only downsides is that the cord doesn’t want to stay wrapped around the bottom, so I’ve given up on trying to make it do that. And it only grinds a small amount of coffee. I have a 6 cup coffeemaker, and it’s just enough to make a pot. But you would probably have to grind more than one batch for a larger coffeemaker. And it would take a long time to grind all of the beans in a 12 ounce bag at once. I don’t have the patience for that, so I just grind what I need to make a pot.The noise it makes doesn’t bother me, but I am not an early riser, so I don’t have to worry about waking other people up in my household while making coffee. It could be a nuisance for people who live in shared living spaces that are small though. It only takes me a few minutes to grind the amount I need, so the noise doesn’t last for too long.I am happy with the product, and the coffee I’ve grinded in it tastes really good. But I will splurge on artisanal brands, so the fact that the beans are supposed to be high quality, affects the taste as well. It does seem a bit fresher than coffee that is purchased already ground, but I don’t think it is a huge difference. So yeah, I recommend this product to other novices, and people who aren’t too particular about how their coffee is made. It’s not the kind of thing a barista would like, especially since it doesn’t have different options for how you can grind your coffee. You just hold the lid down until it looks grinded enough, or at least that’s what I do. I haven’t given up on buying coffee that is already ground, but it is nice to have the option to buy whole bean if I feel like it.

I have bought the expensive coffee grinders in the past-$100+ and they always gave up the ghost within a yr. I find when I buy the simple $20 ish ones they last as long or longer. So far this grinds exactly as I expected and need.save your money and buy these smaller cheaper ones.
