Adequate replacement.
This replaced my seven year old Nespresso. It is no louder than my previous machine. Makes nice coffee. So far so good.
Update- just a week after purchase the first machine stopped working. Amazon replacement came quickly.

Went from 5 stars to 1, bought it July 1, 2021 worked great till today, February 19, 2022. After brewing a double shot it quit working. Wonât turn on. I unplugged it and let it sit for a bit then plugged back in, it came back on and I was able to use it again. But the next day after pulling another double shot it shut off again. Fuse is not being blown so we know itâs the machine. Only 7 months old. Very disappointed. I cleaned it every month and we only use Berkey water. Didnât matter. Itâs dead. I contacted customer service since itâs still within the 1 yr manufacturer warranty. Hoping they will help and make it right.

Took a chance on this Nespresso knock-off. Read the reviews and decided to roll the dice, didnât want to pay over $100 for the brand name. We did not get one that was used like some people did. It works great! No issues so far, we only had it for a week so if for some reason we start having issues I will come back and update my review. We use the Starbucks Blonde Espresso Nespresso pods and this machine makes great espresso with nice crema on top. It is loud but so are all espresso machines, even the professional ones. I folded up a dish towel and placed the machine on top to help minimize the vibration sound. It helps.
Only thing Iâm wondering about is if the plastic is BPA free, still waiting to hear back from the company. Thereâs no mention of it in the manual, here on Amazon or their website.ð¤ Most things are BPA free today but just want to make sure.

I’d like to preface by saying that my wife and I decided on this machine after our Nespresso machine of eight years finally bit the dust. I will say that I have no illusions of this Mixpresso lasting such a long time as it simply isn’t built as well. More light weight, cheaper feeling plastics (especially the water tank) and the handle/capsule feed area feels like a point of failure waiting to happen. Having said that, it is half the price of the other machine and functions as it should. I think this would be a super value product if you caught it on sale at $65 like I did. At $80, not as much.
I am still rating this a four out of five because it does what it should, is easy to use and clean and I think it will last long enough to return its value. We no longer use a nespresso machine 6+ times a day as we have moved on to an actual Espresso machine and grind our own freshly roasted coffee. But my wife still likes this for a quick cup when she is late going out the door. Or for guests who prefer it. I think it would be a great choice for someone who doesn’t know if they want a Nespresso machine or wants a second machine for the office, garage, fishing cabin or anywhere else where it will see infrequent use.
Oh, and I will add that it seems to work best with aluminum capsules, and you need to be careful when feeding plastic capsules in as they don’t like to fall into place. I can’t imagine crushing one in there would be a good thing! As a point of reference, it works great with Nespresso, Peets and Starbucks pods.

It’s a bit noisy but makes a really good addition to my regular cup of coffee! The 1st one broke within a few weeks but customer service was great and replacement was sent in a timely manner. Thank you for helping this replacement process so smooth! Would buy again.

Makes Good Espresso
This is the second Mixpresso Iâve purchased. I bought the first one (red) and liked it so much I bought a second Mixpresso (black) for our lake home
Both machines came very well packaged. Definitely not frustration-free packing bit it certainly did the job. The set up was quick and easy for the first machine. No issues whatsoever, even for a novice. The one I bought for our lake house was a bit of an issue. Itâs an old lake cabin and has only two prong outlets. So it required a three prong adapter (we have proper grounding) and we plan on upgrading to a proper three prong outlet soon. That glitch isnât Mixpressoâs fault but be advised, it does require a three prong outlet.
I havenât had any issues with the machine properly accepting a variety of Nespresso capsules . They all have loaded properly first try and delivered good espresso. I would say that the black model seems to drip, drip, drip longer than the red. Iâm patient. The black model seems a bit quieter than the red but that could be a matter of different kitchen acoustics. All in all, itâs no louder than other machines Iâve heard. Itâs easy to clean. The water canister is a bit fiddly to fill and set but I solved that annoyance by bringing the water to the canister. Much easier.
Although I canât speak to longevity, no issues thus far and I consider it a good bargain.

Does Not Last More Than 2 Years
I bought this espresso maker because it was relatively cheap and easy to use. I only feed it with Nespresso pods. Around year 2 of having the machine it started spitting up espresso grinds into my cup as well as taking a while to dispense the espresso. There are no directions on how to clean the machine and I cannot contact the seller. I started filtering water through the machine and washing the removable parts and did nothing to speed up the machine or create creamy cups of espresso (like it used to!)!

Very good small size coffee machine

A couple of months I purchased this machine after trying the Nespresso one which I returned. That one is small and does not take so much space on my kitchen counter. I use the Fortissimo Nespresso pods which give a good aroma to my coffee and I am happy. They were out of stock but now back for sale. I highly recommend the pair.

It is a great espresso maker for it being cheap I have used a lot of espresso maker and so far this is one of the best machines I have used the other better one I have used is at my work and it is a $10,000 machines so it should be better then a machines at $140 the only downside I have seen it is maker some noise when make a espresso but my espresso maker at work makes noise to so it is a great espresso maker if you want a good cup of espresso for cheap

The product is well built compare to my nespresso which had to be repaired 4 times since I had it ,parts totalled price of a mixpresso, so when it broke down again, I got this one and so far the mixpresso working perfect. Our family owns a garage and mixpresso replaced the broken nespresso, so our employees and clients can enjoy an espresso, let you know in a couple of months if it holds up .

I’ve just unboxed it and tried it out; it makes a good cup of coffee. It’s loud compared to other machines I’ve experienced, so it could wake others nearby in the a.m. But it is working as expected. I love the small size. It fits easily into a kitchen with little space!
