There are 2 brewing modes. Hot brewing mode and cold brewing mode can meet different flavors and taste preferences, which provide customized extraction experience for you. Hot brewing mode is suitable for various coffee types, including espresso, Americano, cappuccino, and more. Cold brewing mode is ideal for crafting cold coffee beverages like cold brew and iced coffee.

As a versatile 2-in-1 coffee maker, it allows you to quickly brew coffee using either freshly ground coffee or coffee capsules. Furthermore, it supports both cold water brewing and hot water brewing options. For hot water brewing, it can make over 100 cups of delicious coffee.
One-touch Operation to Make Coffee: This portable electric espresso machine is easy to operate to make coffee quickly and conveniently. Just press the hot/cold brewing button for 3s, the coffee machine is turned on. It takes 2-3 minutes to fast self heat when you use cold water and choose hot brewing mode. Best feature is it’s size
I’ve been looking for an espresso maker but couldn’t convince myself to take up even more counter space. This item is small, and makes good tasting espresso. Not sure you can actually run it plugged in. Mine stopped half way through a brew since i didn’t check the battery level. Tried plugging it in and it didn’t work.

Awesome Product
I love that you can still use this even if the usb cable charger is connected and charging. Great and good quality product! The current is around 12W 5V 2A when plugged to USB port. It’s a state of the art invention! Hope that in the future there will be an upgrade of more than 80ml capacity of water like double 160ml or triple to 240ml. Recommended!

Love it, but have had inconsistent results
I found out about an upcoming road trip I would be taking and immediately thought, “But… what about our coffee?” Yeah, we like our morning espresso and I knew better than to think we (my traveling companion and I) would be ok with drip coffee from the hotel’s continental breakfast offerings, and as we have become somewhat spoiled in our home setup (it makes amazing coffee), I immediately began looking for alternatives for the trip. When I found this “Maestri House 150W Espresso Machine with 2-3 Min Fast Self-Heating, Portable Travel Espresso Coffee Maker with Small Tea Cup Also Holder for NS Capsule & Ground Coffee for Car Camping, RV, Hiking” I was pretty sure this was going to fit the bill. I’ve used products by Maestri House before and I trust the name as a result. From my experience, Maestri House builds quality products and they seem to stand behind them, so that was that. When the package arrived, we were already mid-pack for our trip, so I took the unit out so it could be as charged as possible before we got on the road. It was another day and a half before we would get to try it out. Thankfully, there was still plenty of charge the morning we tested it, and that’s how we jumped into our “first run” with this device – inexperienced and a bit groggier than is probably recommended for a first-time use, but hey.We read over the instructions again – we had already reviewed them as we packed to make sure we weren’t leaving some critical thing behind (like coffee pods). And then we brewed our first cup. As Murphy always dictates, it did not go as planned. I managed to brew the first pod into the included cup, but I didn’t realize I hadn’t positioned it to HOLD the coffee, so it was a bit messy. Ok, oops. Duly noted. Attempt number two began immediately. Thankfully I brewed a pretty delicious espresso in just a few minutes. Alrighty then, attempt number three? Same deal – just as good as attempt number two.About fifteen minutes later I decided I wanted a second cup. No problem. “I may have messed up the first one, but I know what I’m doing now!” I said, and brewed myself another espresso. My traveling companion said, “I’d like another, please” and I set it up to go again. But it wouldn’t brew. It wouldn’t do anything. I checked the power and that seemed to be the problem. It was entirely out of juice and needed to be recharged. So we learned it can brew four cups before it was out of power. That’s a bit disappointing, right? So we charged the unit back up and left it charging until the next morning. But the next morning we brewed three cups before it wouldn’t do more. I thought perhaps the unit had some kind of overheat protection built in that prevented its use until it cooled back down. I mean I’ve had other devices with that kind of internal safeguard, so why wouldn’t this device have something like that, right? But I don’t know that that’s what it was at all. I was able to brew a fourth cup later that same morning but was never able to determine if it was an overheating issue or a battery issue since we plugged it back in after it wouldn’t brew earlier. After those first two days we only had a couple of instances where we used the espresso machine, and both times we didn’t make more than 2 pods’ worth of coffee, so the overheat/lack of power issue didn’t surface again. We returned home after that and haven’t had a reason to use a portable espresso machine since we have access to a non-portable espresso machine right there on the kitchen counter. In all, I love the convenience of this device and the quality of the coffee is pretty great – well, as great as any “pod coffee” is, I suppose. (Note: You can use grounds with the included “pod” adapter instead of the one that just holds the pods.) I’m sure we’ll be packing this in our luggage for our next road trip, but I would be hesitant to take it on any adventures without a reliable power source simply because I don’t really know why we were throttled at four cups on Day One and three cups on Day Two of our previous excursion.Happy to recommend this product, but with the caveats included. Be aware of possible throttling effect after brewing a few pods/cups. I don’t know if it was from overheating or from depleting the battery, but if I took this camping with a few friends, I have a feeling one or two of them would be irritated they didn’t get their caffeine fix.

Perfect shot!
I ordered the Maestri House 150W Espresso Machine to take my espresso habit on the road. I have a Rocket Espresso machine at home and a Nespresso (older version with small pods) at work so this cool little portable machine complements my other coffee machines and fuels my Americano addiction. Also, since I own another portable espresso machine I have something to compare this one to. With these portable machines, I no longer suffer with bad drip coffee while Iâm camping or staying in a hotel. When compared to my other portable machine, this one is much easier to use from setting up, completing cold and hot extractions, to cleaning up afterwards.I tried this machine with both grounds and espresso pods. When using grounds, I used same fine ground coffee that I use in my home espresso machine since that worked well in my other portable machine. However, when I used the Maestri House machine with the fine ground coffee, water escaped from the side of the machine and dripped off the extraction container even though it was securely tightened. On the other hand, when using pods, there were no leaks. This most likely means Iâm doing something incorrectly when using fresh grounds and itâs not a problem with the machine. It may take some practice with tampering and filling the container with the correct amount of grounds before I get it right. Unfortunately, the directions for this machine are basic and donât have any troubleshooting directions like my other portable machine. The small Nespresso pods worked the best in this machine and made clean up even easier. As a result, I will be using pods only while traveling.Instructions indicate that this machine can brew approximately about 2- 4 cups with cold water. For hot water brewing, it can make over 100 cups of coffee. This is similar to my other portable machine. While camping, itâs probably best to boil water for more cups of coffee and avoid having to constantly recharge it with a portable battery. The best part about this machine (besides being portable) is that it makes a perfect shot. As seen in my video with the Nespresso pod, the espresso shot with this machine looks beautiful with itâs rich crema on top. Better yet, it tastes delicious; even comparable to my fancy Rocket Espresso Machine. There are other benefits of this machine. Besides being easy to use, the extra step of releasing air out of the machine first is not needed before a shot. (This is required for my other portable machine.) Although the use of filtered or bottled water is not suggested in the instructions, it may be a good idea for all coffee machines. Finally, this portable machine comes with a little carrying bag which is nice for transporting. The only thing missing with this portable espresso maker is a small tamper. I suspect that my difficulty with the coffee ground chamber is most likely because itâs challenging to tamper the grounds with the included spoon. I will be purchasing a smaller tamper and update later if that solves the problem.Overall, if you are an espresso connoisseur or know someone who enjoys a delicious espresso while traveling, this is a really good choice.
