Easy to use, does a good job. So far, so good.
I drink a lot of coffee. I grind my own beans. When my uber-fancy, ultra finicky Hamilton Beach grinder bit the big one prematurely, I needed a grinder fast. I could grind my own with a mortar and pestle, but that is too much work. I got the B&D in 2 days. It is on the small side and rather light. The grinding basin and blades cannot be removed. You press the top down while it grinds. It is very simple. This means that there are fewer failure points. It is inexpensive and grinds quickly.Remember, the more features, the greater the chance that one or more will fail. I will revisit this review and let you know how its doing.

Good for the daily grind.
I was surprised this small of a unit was able to do such a good job. The only negative (and Iâm really being picky here), is that the capacity is small. That means you have to dump small amounts of whole beans into the machine, grind, and then pour back into whatever you are going to keep your ground coffee in. Itâs quiet and you can adjust the speed of the blades by pushing the start button more. That allows you to adjust (carefully) how ground you want the beans to be. Really works well if you want a coarse grind for cold brew.Just a small capacity, thatâs the only negative, but it has good stability and is easy to use.

This grinder has a great little motor. It grinds well with big capacity, but the size and shape of the cup seems to produce uneven results. It builds up coffee on the sides …..The nonretractable cord is a big minus. The lid does work well . It is loud. However all said, it is a good value for the price and purpose.

Great quality, stylish, amazing value
A few months back we replaced our coffee maker with a Black & Decker unit that we chose from some great video reviews. One of the video reviews also featured this coffee grinder, so later on we got the coffee grinder. The stainless and black style matches perfectly with our coffee maker. It grinds the beans very well and isnât as loud as some others Iâve seen in the past. Itâs easy to clean, we just shake/tap out the loose grounds and wipe it out with a dry paper towel. The design ensures the grinder wonât turn on without the lid cover on securely. All in all we are very happy with it.

A great coffee grinder
This coffee grinder is the perfect size for each use. It allows you to grind course and fine. Also if you turn it upside down to allow the ground coffee to settle into the lid you don’t have the gounds mess on the counter. It’s not super loud either. Not only did I buy one for myself but I bought one for a friend as well. She also loves it.

This little grinder is great for what it costs! I have a little dogs whose kibble provider no longer makes the tiny kibbles. So I bought this and thought Iâd try and see if it would chop the kibbles. It does an amazing job and itâs simple to use. I give it two thumbs up!

AVOID!!! Sold with moulded polarised plug for use in the USA. It is unusable in the UK. The plug cannot safely be replaced by a UK plug. This item should never have been offered in the UK. In addition, the seller requires the purchaser to pay the return postage charge to the USA!!! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! Amazon – what are you thinking???!UPDATE: the kind people at Getty in the USA have taken pity on me and have very generously agreed to refund the purchase price without my having to return the grinder. This is a one-off kind gesture, as I’m the first and so far only Brit to have bought the grinder in the UK. So, full marks to Getty for outstanding customer service!
