Delivers the crema!
Used for three months so far. Here is an analytical review so far. Short version: Thumbs up. Photo is pulling a lungo (or long black). GREAT crema, very creamy.- I bought beans I know I like (local roaster, medium roast)- I grind with a hand-cranked REI burr grinder set to a pretty fine grind (a bit finer than table salt).- The single-shot portafilter holds 9 grams of that coffee, packed.- A single shot is pretty much perfect, with lots of crema and not bitter- I made a long black by loading the single shot portafilter with coffee, then choosing a double shot on the machine (runs 2x water). Still decent crema.- I made an “Americano” by loading the single shot portafilter with coffee, then choosing a double shot on the machine (runs 2x water). I then ran the double shot cycle again (4x the water). So all brewed coffee, not just a shot with added hot water. It was still strong enough that I probably could have run the machine *again* on the single shot setting (5x water). Amazingly, still crema on top. A bit bitter. Better to brew only a double shot and add to hot water.- I made a double long black (also called a lungo) with different coffee ground a little coarser. I used the double-shot portafilter and ran the machine twice on the double-shot setting. Good crema, and tasty.- I don’t normally froth milk, and I made a mess trying it, but it *did* froth the milk. Allow yourself some practice time, and don’t cry over spilt milk, lol!The machine is a mix of plastic and metal. It looks better than expected, but I expect it will show wear fairly quickly. When I purchased the price was $99.98, but there was a $10 coupon, so $90. It works great for the price. Let’s hope it lasts a few years. I’ll give it another star if it doesn’t break after three months. NOTE: Three month mark, and all is well. I just (today) got the first reminder to descale it.

Easy to use and works well
I’m not a coffee snob, so if you’re looking for reviews from people obsessed with perfect coffee, this is not that review. But I do like basic lattes. I’ve used this machine every day for a month to make a double shot of espresso (I use Cafe Bustelo) and steam some oat milk (Planet Oak Extra Creamy) to make a simple 12 oz latte. It’s great at what it does. I do use a 51mm puck screen with it (Bligko brand here on Amazon). It does the job and hasn’t given me any trouble. I like that I can remove the water tank to refill it and that it’s fully clear so I can make sure it’s clean. Since I use it every day for a double shot and to steam, the water doesn’t stay in there long enough to get gross, but I just like knowing it’s clean. The platform is removable to accomodate a taller cup (like a travel cup). If I had to nitpick, I’d say that it’s kind of lightweight and can slide on the counter when you turn the portafilter into place if you don’t use your other hand to steady it.

Great espresso maker for cheap!
I wasn’t sure how into espresso I would be, so I didn’t want to sink $$$$ into something I might only use once or twice. So I got this cheap one and it’s awesome! Works great. I think it helps to use spring water and expensive beans ground right before use, for the best flavor.

Makes an Excellent Capuccino! Space Saver! Little bit of learning curve.
I never heard of this brand before and could not find a great deal of info on the “company”, tho I have seen pretty much identical product with a higher price tag… I decided to give it a try. Love the instructions!1 version is a bit shorter & concise AND includes Pictures! this is also a nicely finished paper so when I had mess ups and splattered the precious instructions — no problem – wiped clean and looks like I never did that. The instructions ARE critical and must be followed carefully. Makes a beautiful Espresso with plenty of Crema on top. When I do a Capaccino, my favorite, following the instructions results in such beautiful thick luxurious whipped milk foam to top off my cup (now motivated to learn how to do the fun designs)…. Takes very little counter space – shiny chrome finish gives a great look as well. (had a bargain 15# machine before – this is light years beyond that one) I try to limit my caffeine intake to once a day and I am the primary user so machine is a perfect fit for me And for my budget! Love it !

Ridiculously Happy
Living in a rural area with very few places to get coffee in the vicinity, I have been making my own Espresso daily for the last four years. My machine just died on account of our hard water. This is the second espresso maker I have purchased this week. Initially purchased an older style Gevi model. Not only did it feel like a cheap piece of junk when I took it out of the box. It didnât even work. Back to the drawing board. I have to confess the copper accents on this one is what caught my eye. I did not need a smaller model, but thought for the price why not. I love this thing! Simple, no nonsense style with easy to understand directions and buttons, very stylish looking, made a great cup of coffee, and did it quickly to boot. Steam wand heated up quickly as well. Good pressure. Even fit my favorite Starbucks mug underneath which was something the other model did not. The press is pretty cheaply made, but Iâll just use the one I had. No foaming pitcher either so keep that in mind. I honestly donât know if this is a good brand or not but it did what I needed to do.

It does not make espresso
Like any other espresso machines said under $400, they only make strong coffee. In order to have a good espresso the water need to be at least 205 F and the coffee needs time to soak in the hot water in order to be able to release its flavors. Like brewing tea.I would recommend coffee drip or French press coffee maker to get a nice dark thick coffee, close to espresso, then spending a lot of money of cheap espresso machine that is not deliver the quality that one get at the coffee shop.https://www.amazon.com/AMT-Vietnamese-Coffee-Servings-Dripper/dp/B0CDD6JQWT/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.u5Nf2Lh-QiE5mWhw6uT4v_Klpwe-Ag_wmvPqyxTg1efhV5RVlfC2bjZrQzscVL9iqvYjUxcbqgE5D7KER5sNg9b4rkznwkhrh_LYQvsJfPNN8glHPwgjZ502JH3f4USxic1AshxrbKW_vo9A0_OqQpOQUwG2E7z73VVlVL_eGMl5-CGcWJPTaqjoNkiXavrawjJw3VU9tTUZzFYSQglaRw.-w8az8ZV3hq91uhExpWkJes-hHACCyMHxzAT0Qx4Vsk&dib_tag=se&keywords=vietnamese+coffee+drip&qid=1716262809&sr=8-4
