With some additional accessories, this is a great beginner Espresso machine!
Minor Note: Box arrived damaged, but the machine functions perfectly :)First of all, this machine is beautiful, way prettier than I thought it would be given the price point. Its shiny!!PROSBut it doesn’t just look great, it works great! I’ve been able to consistently pull amazing shots from this machine, even better than what I used to get from my 6yr old Breville machine (which is twice the cost). This machine has automated heating which adjusts before and during brewing for a hot shot every time. It also won’t let you pull shots if the boiler is too hot (like after steaming) or too cold.It also allows you to program shot volume which is a great feature for up-and-coming baristas. The machine heats up fast (ready in around 30 sec).Built-in pressure gauge is useful for ensuring shot quality and full pressure releaseCONS (and accessory recommendations)The included portafilter is somewhat cheap, I highly suggest the NEOUZA 51mm Bottomless Portafilter ($33) as it is better quality and bottomless which allows you to really gauge the quality of your shots (see video). The included tamper also sucks, I recommend the Boicafe Coffee Tamper 51mm ($16) which works great with the NEOUZA portafilter. There is no pressure release on this machine. After pulling a shot, you have to manually open the steam valve to release pressure from the pump, and the water will leak out of the steam wand so be prepared with a cup underneath. The steam wand works well but it is small so prepare to be frothing for around 40 seconds for a hot cup of milk.Overall I am very impressed with the quality and usability of this machine. I highly recommend this machine for anyone looking to get into the Home-Barista life. I haven’t had it long so can’t really say anything about longevity, but so far so great!

Makes delicious espresso
I like this machine very much. It’s compact and easy to manage. It is very shocking that my espresso is so flavorful and even better than coffee shop beverages. I haven’t cleaned it yet but will come back and post about that as well. I purchased it in January 2024, and now it’s June 2024 and everything works perfectly. I use it almost daily and it’s been such a money saver for me. I have recommended this product to people on social media, I should get paid for promotion (small fee? lol) But seriously, it’s worth it.

You will make great Espresso at home, with this machine
This is my review after 3 months of daily personal use. I thought itâs time to report on my experience with it and my observations.First I must make clear, while they claim it to be a âProfessionalâ Espresso Machine, I suggest you DO NOT base a business around it. It would have been better if the company touted it as a great choice for people seeking professional quality Espresso AT HOME.Hereâs why. While the machine can make a great espresso, in no way would the machine hold up to the demands of a professional COMMERCIAL ENVIROMENT. While the stainless steel case is stylish, the steel is thin and malleable. Approximately double the thickness of a soda can. While itâll look great on a kitchen counter at home, it would be scratched & dented in a coffeehouse in no time. At home you can be gentle, pass a rag over it & brew a few shots a day. But itâd be tossed out quickly, used up, if it was needed to produce for a large crowd regularly.Itâs really not a pro machine. With it built around a 51mm portafilter, it lacks the capacity to draw more than a single decent 2-shot at a time. No, consider this a machine for the home kitchen counter, and for that, consider it a GREAT purchase for the Expresso lover who wants a better Expresso without needing a professional Barresta to pull one for them.A great machine for a entry-level Expresso maven with one cravat⦠starting out with a 51mm machine means a harder time getting accessories that are inevitable to have, if one seeks to be deep in the culture. You will truly come to love the experience of great Espresso made in your home, but will most likely upgrade to a larger bore machine down the road.Personally, Iâm pleased with my purchase with no regrets, but there are two parts with this machine that I hold NO affection for.First is the supplied portafilter, the pressurized filter basket only fits loosely & has a key way to fit into the portafilter. It is a clumsy design. The other is ultimately the machines biggest potential fault⦠the lever which turns on the steaming wand. It feels cheap, like it can break at any time. Iâve read other reviews claiming the same. But both are minor faults, the machine over-all is awesome! The magic behind the scenes is the pressurized filter basket. It has a double wall base which restricts flow through a single port out of the filter. This restriction creates the pressure necessary to enfuse larger grinds, to make espresso with course, regular ground coffees. In doing so, the process for making Espresso is simplified. The included pressurized portafilter makes it easy, but the machine also has what it takes to make espresso the âold fashionedâ way. With a non pressurized portafilter you can brew an espresso grind as well. For anyone wanting Espresso without needing to stand in line & shell out $$, give this machine a try. It looks good, it brews good, & itâs well worth the price.

Mostly excellent. For an inexpensive machine: totally excellent
I’ve used this machine 2 or 3 times every day for almost 6 months now and am eminently satisfied. I get good creamy espresso and am very happy with the steaming. However, I strongly recommend that you take off the removable housing around the steamer wand: useless and makes cleaning harder. Just place the steamer wand barely below the surface of your milk and it works fine. You’ll hear a hiss when it’s positioned correctly.Like some other reviewers, I found that the instructions were overly complicated. (Maybe that’s changed since I purchased the gizmo.) One does *not* need to let the steamer wand empty water briefly into a cup before steaming. About a half drop of water comes out. No big deal. One does *not* need to let the machine cool down a bit after steaming. I checked the temp of the brewing water with an instant thermometer without the coffee holder in place–182 degrees immediately after steaming. Perfect. The top of the machine gets an itty-bit warm. It will *not* heat up your cup. You want a hot cup? Put the cup in the microwave with water for 30 seconds. These are trivial issues with an excellent, dependable espresso maker. Why, I think I’ll make another drink right now!
