Great for the Price!
Weâve had this espresso machine for over a year now, and it honestly does a great job! I am no professional barista, but as someone who love coffee shop iced lattes, but doesnât want to spend the money every morning, this is perfect for me. After doing some trial and error, Iâm able to make delicious coffee! It does great hot coffee and iced. Like I said, it has held up well for over a year at least, which has saved me a lot of money in coffee runs! Itâs simple and easy to use.

Great little machine for the price!
Given it’s price point I wasn’t expecting too much from this, but it’s worked pretty well. It’s not the best espresso ever, but it’s serviceable and has saved me some money since now I can make the Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso that I love so much from Starbucks right in my own home.
Setup was pretty easy, though I have had a few issues turning the handle of the cup that holds the ground beans. It’s pretty hard to turn and at first I thought I might break it, but I guess it’s just a tight fit. Otherwise I’ve had no issues. Like other reviewers mentioned, I do wish that it would turn off by itself.
I do feel that the grind of the beans is probably the most important thing if you want a good outcome. I bought the blonde espresso beans from Starbucks and they asked me how I wanted it ground and suggested an “espresso grind.” Unfortunately that turned out to be a powdery consistency that is too fine for this machine. It works, but it’s a little more bitter than I would like. So definitely go with the medium grind that the instructions suggest.
All-in-all I’d say that if you’re looking for an entry level machine this is a good start. It won’t be just like the brew at a coffee shop, but it’s not too bad for less than $50.

Overall good machine at a low price
This is my second Yabano Espresso Machine. The first one lasted about 3 years but then the frother stopped working. I read another review that stated the same thing. I liked it well enough to replace it with the same machine, particularly due to the low price. The prices on most espresso machines is outrageous ($150-$400) so I decided that the Yabano worked well enough for under $50, even if I need to replace it every few years. This machine is easy to use, produces a nice strong cup of espresso with perfectly frothy creamer. I use a the sugar free Sweet Italian Creamer and it froths nicely.

Good machine
Well, I am an Advent coffee Drinker, I wanted a good espresso machine that wasnât going to break my budget. This little guy was cheap, I didnât know If it would last me over a year, the durability has definitely impressed me. I use it every morning, itâs a perfect size. Itâs easy to clean. Itâs easy to understand how to use and itâs pretty quick. Takes like two minutes. Everything very self-explanatory.

Great starter, but leaves espresso dirty
This is definitely an affordable machine, but your feet what you pay for. By its price, it works well enough, I would not consider it high end. On the positive side, itâs functional and easy to use, making it a good option for beginners who are just getting into making espresso at home. The machine has a straightforward design, and the learning curve is minimal. It brews a decent cup of espresso quickly, which is great when you need a caffeine fix in the morning. Pop your favorite coffee in, push it down with the included tool, pour waste in the top and go. I love the I built in milk steamer, but it is difficult to clean. Make sure to remove the plastic piece to clean it properly.
The biggest drawback is that it lets grounds into the espresso. This issue is particularly annoying because you end up with sediment at the bottom of your cup. As a result, you canât really drink the last part of your espresso without getting a mouthful of grounds. This is a significant downside, especially for those who are particular about having a clean cup of coffee.
While itâs a decent starter machine, I wouldnât recommend it for long-term use or for anyone who canât stand grounds in their coffee. It’s more of a temporary solution rather than a permanent fixture in your kitchen. Overall, I’d give it 3 stars. Itâs functional and affordable, but the grounds issue is a major flaw that keeps it from being a truly reliable espresso machine.

The steamer works great
This is the first one that Iâve had that makes it easy to foam the milk. It has control of brewing and steaming separately. Heats up readily and doesnât take up too much space on the counter. The little drip tray is easy to remove to clean

Keep it clean!
This is my 2nd Yabano..& yes, you might ask why I bought another when the 1st one failed (the frother quit working). I have VERY limited counter space. After reviewing small Espresso makers & reading all the reviews & most importantly the prices I decided to go with another Yabano. I had bought the Osurion Protection plan so it was an even trade. I did notice the new pamphlet was updated (the hold one was a hilarious Japanese translation!). I previously lived in a hard water area & weekly de-limed the unit. Will do the same here & I strongly advise doing this. I also blow the vinegar thru the frother. It’s amazing how many coffee grinds come out. I do not use the grind suggested. I use the first grind in Espresso mode where I buy my beans. Anything heavier does not make a good strong cup. It’s very hard to get the funnel in the first few times. This will be easier as the gasket relaxes somewhat. Hopefully this unit will last but bought another Osurion Protection plan in case of failure. Great Espresso make for the price. Also, I froth the cream first & then immediately switch to coffee mode so both are ready when finished.

No more coffee maker for me. Outstanding, easy to use and delicious.

I was totally blown away by the quality of espresso and foam created by this very inexpensive machine. I grind beans in a separate grinder and press them into the portafilter. The coffee quality is excellent. I was surprised at the results from the frother. The foam is wonderful and I am slowly learning how to make latte art. For an entry level machine, I highly recommend it. Everything works so well, just try to avoid white as your colour.

My first time using any kind of coffee machine aside from a regular brewing coffee machine. With some trial and error I was able to make 2 lattes including frothed oat milk and they were quite flavourful and enjoyable. I used medium coarse grounds as recommended and did not overfill the water.
A few notes:
-the instructions weren’t entirely detailed. Had to do a bit of trial and error to lock the espresso grounds in place.
-the milk frother is a bit strange. It makes a loud screeching sound like an angry cat? Lol. But it did froth the milk fairly well
-to release the steam pressure I’m still a bit unsure as the instructions do not detail properly. But I believe you turn the operating dial *slightly* towards the milk frother symbol but do not turn the dial entirely to the symbol as this will turn the frother on. I may be wrong on this.
Overall, I like this machine and I would recommend to someone that wants to try making drinks as a beginner but is not ready to invest in a more expensive machine.

Take so long to get pressure and when it does the coffee seems like tea. If you like real expresso DO NOT BUY IT. I will donate mine for a person who doesnât care and only want filter coffee as I lost the refund due date.
