Excellent Masonry Blade for Clean Cuts
As a DIY enthusiast, I often tackle various masonry projects, and the DEWALT Diamond Blade has become my go-to tool for these tasks. It delivers precise, clean cuts every time, making my work much easier and more efficient.
What I particularly like about this blade is its durability and performance. It cuts through masonry like a hot knife through butter, whether I’m working with bricks, tiles, or concrete. The continuous rim design helps in achieving smooth edges without chipping, which is crucial for a professional finish.
The blade’s compatibility with my angle grinder is seamless, and it remains stable during operation, reducing vibrations significantly. This stability not only enhances control but also reduces fatigue during extended use. It’s also great for dry cutting, which means I don’t have to deal with the mess of water-cooled systems.
However, it’s important to note that the blade can generate a fair amount of dust. I always make sure to use it in a well-ventilated area or with proper dust collection measures. Additionally, wearing safety gear, especially goggles and a mask, is a must to protect from the fine particles.
In essence, the DEWALT Diamond Blade for Masonry is a reliable and efficient tool that has greatly improved my masonry projects. Its durability and precision make it a worthwhile investment for any DIYer or professional looking for clean and effortless cuts.

Good value and makes removing old urethane sealant easy
These blades have many uses, but my immediate application was to remove old polyurethane sealant for a new application of sealant. Makes a tedious task go by quickly. Very useful for removing old crud from concrete control joints. Well worth the cost and would buy again.

    These work great!
Great mason art wheel! I was able to take one wheel and plunge cut 120 linear feet 3/8” deep. I still am using that same wheel! Very durable for pool restoration! Highly recommend at this price point!

    Long lasting and well balanced.
I primarily use this 4.5in diamond blade on a battery powered angle grinder. The blade itself is well made and the diamond cutting end, slightly wider than the blade itself. I have only used this to make cuts on ceramic tile and seems to do a decent job. It is quite the challenge to cut a piece of tile without any chipping with this blade which is why I removed a star. The flutes on this blade tend to fill with dust quite easily, but I am not sure if this affects the performance of the blade or not. So far after 100+ cuts, it is still able to make cuts just fine.
    Pros:
    – Long lasting
    – Fluted design that helps if you need to do some small grinding on the edges
    – Works fine on angle grinder
    – Good price
    Cons:
    – Seems to chip ceramic tiles quite easily
    – Flutes clog with dust easily

    Cuts through rocks like butter.
I used this for the first time 2 days ago on some pavers. It just walked through the material so well, was easy to handle and control even as my cut became as deep as the blade limits. I then turned the paver over and made the same cut on the other side and bamb, clean cut in 2. Very impressed.

These are nice to have on hand
I used this to cut expansion joints in a sidewalk I poured in my back yard. Cut easy for that and I also used it to cut a straight edge into asphalt abd worked great as expected for that. Arrived in 2 days and half the price of local stores. Highly recommend

So far, so good on slate tile!
First time using any diamond blade other than using metal blades for doing welding. I bought one to see if I can cut slate tiles that are 1/4″ thick and was surprised how smooth the cut went.
Now, I’ll say that the cut varies depending on what I believe to be the slate’s internal structure as it will cut with some resistance but otherwise it would slice through like hot knife on butter like others have mentioned. The dust wasn’t terrible but I was doing this outside so I would highly recommend having a dust collection system or have a guard to catch dust if you’re doing this indoor.
Longevity wise, time will only tell but hoping it’ll at least let me cut around 100 tiles or more. Very happy with the results so far!

Wow!, The best concrete cutting blade I ever used. Cut through hardened lawn edge concrete forms like a sharp saw through softwood lumber. Previously I had only used the standard masonry cutting blades that wear out after cutting one brick, and takes 10 minutes to do that little job. Thought I would try this 4 1/2″ DeWalt diamond blade and I’m not sorry I did. I didn’t even notice the slightest wear on the blade after completely cutting 2 sections of hardened concrete formed blocks. Cuts at least 15 X faster than the cheap discs with what seems like no wear at all. A really good purchase at a very decent price. Arrived very quickly in the mail.

I was able to cut 2″ thick pavers (cut both sides and snap off) in both straight lines and curves (around a fish pond). The blade worked very well and is still usable. The entire area was about 14 x 14 with a 6×14 walk way. Cuts were needed on some of the edge pieces and on some of the walkway pieces. A full sized concrete saw would not have worked on the curves.
