This Grinder Saved Our Marriage
Buy this, you won’t find a better value in an eletric burr grinder without some big sale. The title is tongue in cheek of course but we were having a battle of coffee strengths. If it was strong enough for him it tasted like aspirin to me. Well I did some investigation and found out that was likely because pre-ground coffee. Thus began our journey to coffee snobbery. We got one of those cheap grinders and that helped but it left big chunks of beans if we used a coarser grinds.I searched for a burr grinder and found this beauty. Ours is about 4.5 years old and while we did replace the plastic bin the grinds feed to once (it had a crack but was still usable) it’s still going strong.I’m about to order a 2nd one for the expresso machine so we don’t have to fight over the existing one (plus a back up never hurts). It’s easy to use and as easy to clean as one could expect, nice uniform grind.

The best grinder!
The last one I had is the same brand only it was the more expensive model and I just had problems with it even though it lasted like 15 years but it just didn’t grind like on the fine it wasn’t that fine and on the course it wasn’t course and it kept pushing its little case out to finally the push on grind button just busted right out or should I say in. This one has a little click and snaps right in. It also has a hopper that’s bigger to hold the beans. I know I’ve only had it for a week but I really notice how much better it is. ðâ

Works great for the price but messy
Found on a couple different lists as one of the best inexpensive flat plate burr grinders you can buy, so I thought I’d give it a shot. It works well and grinds consistently. My only complaint is it doesn’t really seal between the dispenser and the hopper, so it get grounds everywhere both while grinding and then when removing the hopper to get to the grounds.

This was on sale when I bought it, and has worked like a champ for years
I bought this several years ago, and it’s worked great ever since. With adjustable grind settings, and adjustable grind volume, I can use this no matter what style coffee I’m trying to achieve.

We had two of these in 1 year and 1 month.
Ok now this is a good grinder as far as grinding coffe goes. When you get to longevity is where issues come in. We initially ordered this because of great reviews etc..We had it 3 months or slightly over that it quit working. We got a replacement and that worked since August or September of last year, now a seal around the grinder port where ground beans come out is falling apart.I mean we do use it daily and it makes very decent coffee. I just read reviews of other electric burr grinders 5 years old + (& this is several differing drands price lines etc, same price range) and I conclude that 2 in 13 months is troubling.

Husband Loved It!
Bought this grinder for the husband. He’s a coffee guy! He loves it, its very easy to use and set up. Its not super noisy and it does the job. The only thing I don’t like about it is that its a little messy if you aren’t careful when the grind is done but the husband cleans up after himself and he likes it. I do love that it is very compact in size and does not take up alot of space. Point is that he loves it.

The last thing you want before your morning coffee is a grinder problem.
I like to choose grind density as I see fit, not as ground coffee makers have to compromise. I’ve had many grinders in my lifetime, and I’ve used many more in other people’s kitchens. Ah, the frustration of a grinder that stops for no apparent reason; flings grinds around so you have a mess to clean up; grinds differently than it did last time; runs out of beans because the hopper was difficult to see or reach; or just feels flimsy and untrustworthy. With this grinder, I push the grind button as I pass by to prepare a moka pot or French press or filter, and it just works every time. The same grind density every time. Fast, because sometimes I want more. This is a great grinder.

What are you waiting for? Just get it already
I ended up getting the Krups coffee grinder and the chef man barista pro espresso machine rj54. My only regret is that I did not do this two years ago. I had a $50 espresso machine from Walmart that worked OK did not have even pour and the espresso was always a little weak. The chef man was a gift, and the crops I got to go with it so I could make sure that I had freshly ground espresso so that my coffee had the best flavor like Starbucks or Lineage or Foxtail coffee. The Krups grinder allows you to select what size you want the grounds to be for making lattes or cappuccinos do you want to make sure that itâs about the coarseness of table salt to make sure that your espresso machine gives you the best espresso. In order to make sure it was the coarseness of salt I said it on between the little dot and dash on the particle size dial of krups grinder. The grinder is easy to use, it is not insanely loud but it isnât quite either. It is loud enough to wake up somebody if they are in an adjacent room to the kitchen. The particle sizes are about 80% consistent, which is good enough for making sure that your espresso brews well. The chef man barista pro is also not quiet by any means but itâs 25% the volume level of the screaming espresso machine with frother I had from Walmart. The chef man barista pro saves me so much time in the morning making my espresso drinks because it measures out the liquid and has a measuring scoop for the coffee, and brews the correct amount of water and froths the correct amount of milk. It takes about 45 seconds to make a latte which used to take me five minutes to set everything up and froth and heat my milk. I was a little grossed out by the milk reservoir but if you have leftover milk I put it in the fridge. I use planet oat unsweetened oat milk with about a tablespoon or two of the planet oat oat milk creamer, but I will say the oat milk that froths the best is Califia farms oat BARISTA BLEND that comes in a little blue box. This honestly will save me so much money and will pay for itself within the first month considering how much coffee Iâve been getting on the way to work or having delivered home with uber eats. The chef man barista pro espresso machine did have a little bit of a plastic chemical smell. I cleaned it really well with a straw cleaning and dawn powerwash and I ran it outside probably 20 or 30 times over the course of a couple hours to get rid of the smell to make sure it was safe to have in the house as I have multiple pet birds who can actually be killed by the chemical coating left on during the manufacturing process (this is not to be confused with Teflon although it does kill your bird like Teflon ) on some of the kitchen machines. The KRUPS grinder did not have a smell. Overall Iâm pretty pleased.

I’m replacing my old Krups burr grinder after SEVENTEEN YEARS of reliable service. The grinder was reliable after all these years – if the power button hadn’t broken it would still be perfectly usable. I could not be more impressed with this grinder.

What a great find! This coffee grinder is so much quieter than others in this price range. It also has adjustable cup sizes and grind sizes. Perfect for our French press.

Purchased this to replace the built in grinder on our coffee machine, this works better than the built in grinder ever did.
