Good machine, but…
There is no discussion regarding the Gevi capacity to brew an excellent and tasty coffee, its ease of use, versatility, aesthetics and hygiene, but…
If you buy this very good machine (as well as other espresso ones), be prepared, after enjoying your preferred coffee, to spend a certain amount of time, about 15 minutes, for its maintenance.
As a matter of fact, if you want to keep intact its quality, you must let it and its accessories in impeccable condition for the next time you will use it.
And you will appreciate it twice more!

Great espresso machine for the price
I am really enjoying this espresso machine. I have never had an espresso machine before and this one is nice looking doesnât take up too much space and is easy to use. The espresso taste excellent with some frothy plant blaze milk:) The reservoir doesnât need to be filled up often.

Good price, good expresso
I dont know if this makes the best expresso but i will say this, after recently switching the brand of pre ground coffee i would buy, my brevielle bambino did not have enough force to extra the coffee throug the grinds. The water would back up in the machine and gush out when i would remove the portafilter.
I put the same coffee on the gevi and no such issue. I also like it has a pressure gauge to help troubleshoot. The instruction book is also very helpful and well written.

Did not work
It did not work at all from the moment I took it out of the box. No water or steam would run through it. When I called they didnât know how to help and would not send me a new one unless I emailed them a video and went through a bunch of hoops. Very disappointed.

Great little machine
After having spent about 3 months out of the last year overseas, I just couldn’t drink American coffee after I returned. Cafe Americano just doesn’t agree with my palate anymore, so I decided to buy an espresso machine. I looked at several different models and read the reviews and this one fit my budget and had good reviews. After having used it for a few months, it’s great. It extracts consistent espresso once you figure out the grind and tamping. Tastes just like a coffee from Europe.

Impressive for the Price – Barista of 8 years loves it!
 I actually adore this little machine. I took some time to check reddit barista and coffee pages before purchasing as the price seemed too good to be true for a quality machine. I have had it for over a year now and use it every morning to make 2 lattes for my partner and I and it has held up very well and pulls a great quality shot of espresso. Some tips are – make sure your grind of espresso is correct, you may have to mess with this a bit to get a good shot. Experiment with what beans and milk work the best. I was highly impressed with the steam wand pressure for the size of the machine and have found that aldiâs oat milk steams wonderfully (my wimpy stomach canât do dairy) Make sure youâre keeping the machine clean – between actual cleanings I usually run a shot of just hot water through after both coffees are made. As long as you take care of the machine and play around with coffee grind – you will have a true coffee shop quality espresso drink right at home.
Now for the only tiny downsides – the handle of the portafilter is plastic, this is honestly fine it just seems a little cheaper than the rest of the machine.
The pressure gauge is an estimate at best in my opinion, donât take it too seriously but aesthetically itâs very cute.
