non pressurized but made like a dual wall pressure type
This fit exactly in my generic ilavie 20bar espresso maker. slides in and out super easily, it’s an exact fit. It might be just slightly a few mm deeper then the stock 2 cup pressurized cup that came with the machine. It says 18grams. I weighed the amount of coffee i normally put in normally and in my stock cup which is 13grams, this cup i put about 15grams with still 3mm at least spacing on top. Whenever i watch the espresso youtube howto shows, they seem to use a non pressure about 15-18gram 2 shot cup, and it always looks rich with a lot of crema (foam). When i used this on my machine, the coffee/espresso looked nice and rich but with actually less foam then my pressure type cup. Not that it tasted bad, i think maybe this flows much faster so it flows through faster before it gets bitter? It tasted smoother like a strong cup of coffee which i think it should taste like. So anyways, i’m going to experiment more with this cup, but so far i like it even though it’s not what i expected. Maybe my machine can’t build the pressure in the cup, but otherwise my latte did taste good. This non pressurized cup looks like a high quality pressurized cup. It has finer holes on the inner surface, and slightly larger holes which populate most of the bottom surface. The machining looked quality and had a slight polished sheen to it. When i washed it with water, i did notice that i can force water through it from the faucet, so it is very low pressure at most and will eventually let the water fall through the basket. So it definitely is a non pressure type cup. So with that, i’ll tell you my measurements for my handle that holds the cup. The inner diameter of cup was 51.3 mm, outer diameter is 52.8-53mm, that top edge lip diameter was about 58.4mm and about 24.9mm tall. So if your handle can take a cup roughly these dimensions, this will fit. Overall i’m glad i tried it. I dont think non pressurized is correct for my machine, but it does generate a different tasting cup and i do like it so i’ll keep it.

A good product at a fair price
Works perfectly in a Millenium La Pavoni. Perfect when pulling multiple shots.

A good basket, BUT
It will not hold 18 grams of fine grounds as stated in the ad. I know this without trying because it is EXACTLY the same basket as the one that came with my CAPFEI portafilter (photo). Now I have two identical portafilter baskets that work well with a smaller dose, but are not what I wanted.
Looking at all of the ads listed, it appears that many, if not most of the offerings are for the same products with different sellers – particularly for large dose baskets.
Just another $10 lesson I should have already learned.

Pretty Good, but with a problem
Looks very nice. Worked pretty well the first time, but with a lot less crema than the pressurized basket. Second use, it stuck in machine. Real hassle getting out. Don’t know why, did everything same way as first time. So be aware. James Hoffman (utube) upgrades machines first by switching to a non pressurized basket or portafilter. Going back to pressurized for now. Saving for a better machine.

No crema and no âlipâ to lock the portafilter in place
Does not make crema on espresso like the original portafilter that comes with the espresso machine. Also, there is no lip on the edges of this filter so if you turn the handle upside down it will instantly fall out. Itâs a pain to use but I need my caffeine and this was expensive.
