Consistent grind
 Found this to become my workplace grinder instead of succumbing to the stale pods. I have a much older big name burr grinder that our family uses religiously. Why burr grinder? Better consistency, variable grinds and safer handling (no blades). Buyer beware! There is a certificate inside that I overlooked until I needed to use it. This is an extended 1 year warranty and it states it must be claimed within 3 days of purchase receipt. While I don’t agree with this policy as it is not marked on the box and anything could delay it, even final delivery, if you have an opportunity – claim it.Pros:-Easy to clean: Almost every part comes apart for easy cleaning, including the barrel of the grinder itself.-Consistent grind: This was set to a grind about half way between drip and espresso grinds. See pic. This one also has a setting for French press.-Easy to read display.-Compact design.Cons:-Timer dial is not limited so it will rotate infinitely despite topping out and bottoming out the timer. I found that it changes the timer, if you turn it too far one way, it will desync the timer markings. So 30 sec, might end up in the 5 sec spot next turn and so on. The markings around the dial become irrelevant compared to the actual grind.-Seating the hopper requires trial and error. If the hopper isn’t seated right, the grinder won’t work. The hopper is not marked to line up with lock symbol like instructions suggest. It is a tight tension lock that clicks into place and must be twisted all the way. It’ll make a final pop once in place.-The grinder uses a timer as a best guess grind. I prefer my grinder which predicts the grind time based on the bean volume being ground which is much more convenient.All-in-all, this grinder does a fine job and is pretty easy to use once you get used to its quirks. It’s easy to clean and nice and compact. Recommended.

Freshly Ground Coffee Makes All the Difference
You know how great the coffee smells and tastes when you first open a new bag or a can, then after only a few short days that delicious aroma -and even the taste fades? Using FRESHLY GROUND coffee every time eliminates all that so that every time you grind a batch you get that YUMMY smell and taste because freshly ground coffee beans is as good as it gets IMO__This little machine does a great job of grinding fresh coffee beans to a One’s desired level of texture. I have an automatic drip style coffee maker which uses pods, (or as I use it, with a reusable basket, so I add my own coffee rather than using the pods). I also have an espresso machine, as well as a french press coffee pot. Each of these coffee makers require different levels of coffee grinds which makes this coffee grinder even more valuable to me. Now I don’t have to purchase various types of coffee as I simply grind the beans myself. I love it. That smell. That flavor. SMILES__The grinder is more quiet than I expected. Of course it does grind whole coffee beans into small pieces, so that will create some noise. No problem for me as the trade off is a delicious cups of coffee. Every. Time. __NOTE: this grinder is not an anti-static one, meaning there will be coffee grinds that will attach to the sides of the receptacle container as it is made of plastic. Of course the degree of how finely One grinds the coffee is what will result in the degree of coffee which will cling to the container. The finer the grind, the more static to the side of the container. This is not a problem at all, but it is something to expect. There are anti-static containers available for purchase but they are far more expensive than this particular grinder and I don’t feel it is an issue at all__I appreciate that there is a brush included to clean the blades of the grinder. Keeping the machine clean will help to present great tasting coffee every time__BOTTOM LINE: Yes, I would absolutely choose this coffee grinder again

I’ve avoided getting a coffee grinder for many years because every grinder I’ve ever been around made the most loud, awful noise. Realistically I couldn’t see myself using something that loud and grating to my ears on a daily basis. My husband had been wanting to try grinding our own coffee beans at home though, so I finally decided to take a chance with this coffee grinder. I warned him before its first use that it was probably going to be super loud, but we were both pleasantly surprised with how quiet it was! If you’re worried about waking up everyone else in the house each morning, this is definitely the coffee grinder to get! It is so much quieter than I was expecting!!It comes apart fairly easily for cleaning. There are two knobs to set how coarse/fine you want it to grind, and for how long. It takes a few uses to figure out the appropriate time setting to get your desired amount of grounds, but once you get that figured out it’s extremely straight forward to use. Absolutely no complaints here!

Quiet and convenient
This burr coffee grinder is much quieter than my previous small grinder. There are two settings on this one, how long to run and how fine to grind. A couple of things to watch for, make sure the grinding burr is properly seated and make sure the bean hopper is locked. If either of these aren’t right, the grinder won’t turn on.Rather than select how many cups of coffee you want to make, you select how long to grind. At first this seemed weird. But on second thought it actually makes more sense. If I select two cups of coffee, do I mean two 2.5 oz espresso cups or two of my favorite 15 oz mugs? Once I got used to how much coffee it grinds in how many seconds, it works.
